I did not get a resolution to a corrupted OSU1, because we were able to fix the online update issue. In case it wasn't clear, you don't have to mess around with an offline update as the online version may work for you if you do this. I hope this helps people avoid frustration in the future or worse forking over their money for something that is not really broken. In short, if your update is not working over wireless, plug it into your cable modem and try again. Within seconds, it had finished downloading and the update installed. Stop trying to update over wifi, plug the xbox directly into your cable modem NOT your router if you have a modem and router set up and try the update again. I will say that once the supervisor became involved we figured out why the last 68mb of the update wouldn't download and the fix is REALLY easy. I was not going to pay this because it worked fine until Microsoft forced the update and broke it. I don't have unlimited Internet so these large downloads are potentially costing me money when I go over my limit. The latest when I try and use Chrome instead of bing, the download doesn't complete due to a network error the file size is 4. Sorry, I am pretty frustrated with MS at this point, I bought an xbox one s 2TB, invested in all the adapters for a kinect, and then they dropped it, so twice in less than two years I feel cheated.

Now it forces an update attempt every time which of course is not working and the only advice they have is to run the USB offline update, but the file they recommend is corrupt and has been for over a year.
